What's Happening@CBSW

CBSW needs you!

Our annual HundredX fundraiser is off to a great start. As of April 21, we have raised 80% of our fundraising goal, and we need your help to get to 100%!

If you have not yet signed up to complete your HundredX surveys, use one of the three methods provided below. Then, complete 75 surveys (max 25/day).

If you have signed up but have not yet completed your 75 surveys, please help us get across the finish line!

If you have signed up and have COMPLETED your 75 surveys: thank you!

Remember, non-members can also help support CBSW, so ask your friends, family, or neighbors to help too!

Need to sign up with HundredX? Use one of these methods:

1. Scan this QR code   2. Text IMPACT to 90412*   3. Register directly on the HundredX website

Select "Congregation Beth Shalom of The Woodlands" in the organization drop-down menu.

Message and data rates may apply. By texting “90412” you agree to receive SMS messages from HundredX Causes (HXC). Even though HXC makes no sales to you, the law requires HXC to disclose that your consent is not a condition of purchase.

Want to help CBSW, but you don't feel like doing the surveys?

If you want to skip the surveys and donate financially, "One and Done" was created just for you! Donate at least $180 directly to CBSW, and you won't receive any more emails from CBSW about 100X.

Donate today and "be Done"!

Vote today in the World Zionist Congress Election

The World Zionist Organization (WZO) elections determine the composition of the World Zionist Congress, which convenes every five years to set policies and allocate funding for global Jewish initiatives.

In the United States, elections are now open through May 4 to select 152 delegates representing American Jewry at the Congress, to be held October 28-30 in Jerusalem.  These delegates and others from around the world will influence decisions on leadership and the distribution of substantial funds, impacting various Jewish institutions and projects.

Voting is open to all Jewish adults residing in the United States who accept Zionist principles and pay a $5 registration fee.  Twenty-one slates, representing diverse Jewish ideological perspectives—from religious denominations to political affiliations—are competing in this election.  The Vote Reform Party represents Reform Jews.

Your voice matters in bringing more support for Reform Jewish communities in Israel.

Please vote!! Watch this video to learn how to cast your ballot.

Think You're Too Old for Birthright? You May be Wrong!

In response to October 7th, Israelis united around a collective volunteering effort to fill gaps in society. The work to rebuild and renew is underway, and reform Jews around the world are invited to rally their support for the people of Israel, in the land of Israel, while the needs are greatest. This 8-day Birthright Israel Volunteer trip is designed for travelers seeking to volunteer, connect, and renew together.

Oneg: We all enjoy time to nosh with friends during Oneg after services. Will you step up to either host (provide set up, provide refreshments, and clean up) or sponsor (donate money) an Oneg? Check available dates and sign up!

Challah: Is there anything better than homemade challah? Especially when it's still warm and fragrant (are you hungry yet?!)... Well, we need bakers so we can have fresh challah each week for our members to enjoy after services. Whether you're a first-time challah baker or a veteran, we need your help! Check dates and sign up!
