As these holy days end, please know how grateful I am to the staff and leaders of CBSW for making these days so special. We are a blessed community! Speaking of community, how we care for one another throughout the year is the clearest sign of community. I want to remind folks that CBSW has a Chesed Committee. Chesed is the Hebrew word for loving kindness. If Tzedakah means giving to the poor, Chesed means giving to one another of our time. The Chesed Committee is always looking for new members. We communicate through WhatsApp, so let me know if you are interested. We also seek members of the community we can help. If you need something, let us know. The Chesed Committee excels in making blankets that I give to those who are ill. They are very popular!
 
We are very fortunate to be part of a warm and strong community. I hope we can share this blessing with each other in the year ahead.
