One of the many missions of CBSW is to make sure that we properly memorialize our loved ones after they pass away. In Jewish tradition, we mark the anniversary of a loved one’s death by attending services when possible and saying the Kaddish after we hear their name pronounced. We are also encouraged to light a candle in their memory, reminding us that God’s light is reflected in our eternal souls. CBSW has had two memorial boards for many years, but we now need more space. Thanks to the generosity of the Dushkin and Sunderland families, our new board has been installed, and we have started to fill it with names. If you have family you wish to remember in this way, please let us know and we can help you make this mitzvah happen (you can contact me or Jen, in the CBSW office).
