Havurat Nashim (Sisterhood)
Havurat Nashim is a Hebrew phrase meaning "Sisterhood." The purpose of Havurat Nashim at Congregation Beth Shalom of The Woodlands is to foster lasting friendships and unity among women and to support the congregational vision. Havurat Nashim is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism's sisterhood organization, Women for Reform Judaism.
As a sisterhood, Havurat Nashim organizes events that provide an outlet for creative energy, kindness, learning, laughs, spirituality, and friendship. We hope to bring women of various ages and interests together with a beautiful sense of camaraderie and sisterhood.
